With FIFA 21 already appearing to be stale, despite the inclusion of major events such as TOTY in Ultimate Team, players are already looking ahead to what's to come in the future. Despite the fact that only minor changes are made year after year, the game continues to be extremely popular.
FIFA 22: Release Date, Trailer, Gameplay, Ultimate Team, Early Access, and More
Date of Release
FIFA 22 is expected to be released on the 24th of September, 2021, for those who purchased the Standard Edition. This means that Champions and Ultimate Edition owners will be able to access Early-Access on the 21st of September in the year 2021. EA Play access is typically granted up to one week prior to the release of a game. The game was fully released on the 9th of October last year, which was its first anniversary.
Gameplay
Although the gameplay doesn't tend to change significantly from year to year, small tweaks can have a significant impact on how players interact with the game. There were a lot of players who were dissatisfied with the game's unrealistic defending mechanics, and they were not alone. With the AI performing a significant amount of tackling for players, automatic blocks, and the inability to make a tackle without winning the ball, the game is becoming increasingly difficult. Pace appeared to be a source of contention for players, as it was never truly representative of a player's actual pace. Added to this are tactics such as counter-attack and drop back, which are proving to be far too powerful and frustrating to be defeated. Hopefully, these are issues that will be resolved within the next few months.
It is too early to tell what features will be added to the game and what features will be changed, so stay tuned.
Here are some concepts that EA might want to consider for the new game. Perhaps a new engine is on the horizon? Despite the fact that the Frostbite Engine was still in use, new technology was made available to the developers, which usually means that the engine in FIFA will be changed. Because of the COVID-19 issue that occurred last year, Electronic Arts decided not to change the engine and instead to stick with what it had. In the FIFA community, there is a general consensus that the current engine is doing more harm than good, and that a new engine would be a welcome change.
MODE DEVOTED TO CO-OP
The inclusion of co-op in FIFA Ultimate Team was a brilliant move on EA's part, but it is currently only available in the single-player mode. As a result, you may encounter unfair matches, and players may benefit from rewards that they would not otherwise be able to obtain. Making a dedicated co-op experience, possibly with shared assets, would be a welcome addition to the game universe.
In this year's game, it appeared far too easy for casual players to amass large amounts of FIFA 22 Coins and rewards with minimal effort. Those who work hard and consistently achieve a position in the top tier of the standings, on the other hand, do not receive rewards commensurate with their achievements. EA has done this in order to prevent the power curve from tilting in favor of the top players; however, the grind to obtain top players quickly fades away, and the skill gap is reduced as a result. It also makes it more difficult for new players to get into the game because they are so far behind the current leader.

Demonstration
The demo is the first opportunity for fans to get their hands on the upcoming game, and it will be available for download soon. The demo for FIFA 20 was made available for download on September 10th, which was a full 17 days before the full game was made available for purchase. FIFA 21 did not receive a demo last year, which is something EA will want to avoid in the future. As is always the case with demos, fans can expect to see at least six EA teams that have partnered with the company.
A different method of getting a glimpse of what the next FIFA game will be like will be available before the demo is made available. Closed beta invitations are expected to be sent out to the selected few sometime between July 25th and August 7th, so keep an eye on your inbox for updates! Players were able to test game modes such as FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), Volta Football, and Career Mode during the beta period, which ran for 13 days in August. Around this time of year, it is likely that the FIFA 21 beta will be made available to players who have registered for it.
App for the Web
Fans often look forward to the release of the FIFA Web App in order to start earning those all-important FUT coins as soon as possible after the release of a FIFA game on their console.
